Curriculum & Scheme of Studies


A curriculum is what constitutes a total teaching- learning program comprising of overall aims, syllabus, materials, methods and assessment. It provides knowledge and capabilities as per a particular level. Evaluation not only measures the progress and achievement of the learners but also the effectiveness of the teaching materials and methods used for transaction. Hence evaluation is viewed as a component of curriculum with the twin purpose of effective delivery and further improvement in the teaching-learning process.

Scheme of Studies:Hanifa School follows the curriculum set by Central Board of Secondary Education, (CBSE) New Delhi.

Primary Level: (Classes I to V)
The subjects taught at Primary level: English, Mathematics, , Environmental Studies, Hindi, Urdu and Computer Sc as additional subject.
** Gujarati is added from Class V onwards
Laboratory activities are also conducted in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Computer at Primary Level.

 

Middle Level: (Classes VI to VIII)
The subjects taught at MiddleLevel: English, Mathematics,Science, Social Studies, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu and Computer Sc as additional subject.
Laboratory activities are also conducted in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Computer at Primary Level.

 

Secondary Level: (Classes IX & X)
The subjects taught at Secondary Level: English (Communicative), Mathematics, , Science, Social Studies, Hindi-B as second language and Computer Sc as additional subject.
Laboratory activities are also conducted in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies and Information Technology at Secondary Level.
